Well Jerry and the family (Ellen and Patrick) were in town this past weekend and we went out on some trails in the area. They got to meet Roger and Debbie whom I know from the "Jeep Thrills in Vegas" group. It was a lot of fun and if anyone else happens to be up in these parts we'll be more than happy to meetup!

This is what I said on Preston's picture website:

This is Jerry. Pretty sweet.
1) it is MUCH quieter than my Jeep.
2) it is much more roomier than mine.
3) it has 4 doors.
4) I believe it might be a smoother ride.
5) I believe my jeep can make it over more and bigger rocks.

All in all, I was really impressed with the room, and the ride. I am not very good at the stick shift on obstacles.
(That would be just more time behind the wheel for that)

Thanks Preston...

When you come down you will have to drive my beast, to see the difference.

RE: 1) Jerry, your High-Lift makes so much racket, every time you are behind me on the trail I think my Jeep is breaking or falling apart.

6) Red is a way cooler color than yellow.

Jerry I cannot wait to drive your beast! There's no doubt in my mind that you can make it over obstacles with a lot more ease and a lot less damage than mine. I am really impressed with my lift though and the larger tires help out a lot. I've been on that trail (Potato Ridge as it is called by locals wheelers) before when it was stock and what a difference!! I only tapped bottom once thanks to some good spotting by Jerry wink along with the new lift and tires. Before I would scrape a few times but this time it was just so easy compared to last. And this was no easy trail. I think Jerry rated it a 4 on a scale of 1 to 5??? There were even some harder lines to pick than the ones we had.
